EDGAR F. SAXON, delegate Quay County, atty., (Dem.); b. Dec. 10, 1863, Union County Arkansas; s. of D. P. and Medora (Reeves) Saxon; educ. pub. schls. Union County; Arkansas State Univ., Fayetteville, Ark, 1887; taught school in Union County, 1887-89; read law and was admitted to bar in Union County, 1893; prac. there until 1903; came to New Mexico, 1903, locating in Tucumcari in practice of law; has practiced there continuously since; County Surveyor, Union Co., Ark., 1890-2; County and Probate Judge, same county, 1895-6; mem. N. Mex. Terr. Dem. Committee, 1910-11; mem. Masons (one of the organizers and charter member Tucumcari Lodge No. 27), Past Master same lodge.
