Feb. 4, 1858, London, Canada. s. of James and Sarah (Crone) Page; educated in the common schools and raised on the farm; came to New Mexico 1881, and engaged in the timber and tie business; also operated a sawmill; collector and treasurer, McKinley county, 1909-11, elected Nov , 1911 as member  first State Senate from 17th district.
