from law and entered civil engineering; removed to New Mexico,
1896, and located in Taos Co. as civil engineer; resumed practice
of law in Taos; city attorney, Kiowa, Kansas, 1886; attorney
Mo. Pac. Ry., 1886-9; U. S. Deputy Mineral Surveyor for New
