HARRY W. KELLY, wholesale merchant, (Rep.) delegate San Miguel Co.; b. Leavenworth, Kansas, October 29, 1858, s. W. D. and Helen F. Kelly; educ. pub. schools, Leavenworth and Kansas Unive., Lawrence; went to Grenada, Colo., Sept. 1. 1873; worked as office boy Otero Sellar & Co. in Grenada; went with firm to La Junta and El Moro, Colo., then to Otero, N. M.; from Otero, moved to Las Vegas, and on March 1, 1881, for of Gross, Blackwell & Co. was formed, of which he was a member; Jan. 1, 1901, firm becam Gross, Kelly & Co., of which Mr. Kelly is president; ex-member school board; served on delegations Washington to assist in fight for statehood; mem. Masons and Elks.
