Co. as brakeman and conductor, Asheville, until 1902; came to New Mexico, locating at Raton, 1902, as conductor on Santa Fe; mem. general com. of adjustment for Santa Fe system, 1907; local chairman Div. 372, O. R. C., three terms; chief conductor Div. 372, O. R. C., 1910; represented O. R. C, in grand division in Portland, Oregon, 1906; mem. Masons.
