Starting in the 1880s as a simple adobe, and getting a major makeover at the turn of the century, turning it into a Victorian ranch house, the Judge Seaman Field House is one of the oldest dwellings in Deming, and represents the aspirations of this late territorial politician and Southern New Mexico booster.
