New Mex. House of Rep, 1860; sheriff and collector San Miguel Co., 1879-1881; assessor San Miguel Co., 1881-3; mayor Las Vegas, 1882-6; mem. terr. senate, 1899; treas, and collector San Miguel Co., 1903-11; terr. coal oil inspector, 1905-7; mem. exec committee terr. Rep. Central Comm.; elected Nov. 7, 1911, as first treas. and collector, San Miguel Co., under state govt.
