Clarendon College, Clarendon, Texas, 1905; grad. (LL.B.) Cumberland Univ., Lebanon, Tenn., 1906; first came to New Mexico in 1903; was in Oklahoma in 1908, but returned to New Mexico and established law office in Elida in 1909; 1906 assumed charge of Elida News, retaining charge until latter part of 1907; city attorney, Altus Okla., 1908; mem. Masons, I.O.O.F.
