St. Michael’s college, Santa Fe; engaged in jewelry in business in Santa Fe, eight years; located in Las Vegas, 1885-98, incorporating Mexican filigree jewelry business; removed to Socorro 1896, and engaged in general mdse., real, stockraising and farming; county school supt. San Miguel Co., 1886-7; chief depty. Treas. and collector, San Miguel Co., 1889-90; chairman board county comm., San Miguel Co., 1893-4; mayor city of Socorro, 1904-5; sheriff Socorro Co., 1907-9; mem. Socorro city council, 1897-1903 and 1909-11; pres, board of regents, New Mex. School of Mines, Socorro, 1909-11; mem. Catholic Knights of America.
